Prices:
We reserve the right to change selling rates in a case of a high devaluation of Hungarian Forint. Calculation rate of exchange: 1 EUR= 285 HUF, 1 USD=200 HUFSelling rates are valid per person and include all the services according to the descriptions.According to the Hungarian taxation law we ask for final use declaration in a case the traveller asks to issue the invoice not on her/his name.
Guiding:
We secure our Hungarian speaking assistance and guiding on all holiday destinations. All of them speaks English or French as well.
Hotels, accommodation:
-Category: signed by stars according to the hotels's official rating and signed by "palms" according to our opinion and advice. In the low season all hotels operate with less facilities and services.
- Rooms: room reservation is available only for the room category and not for the location of the room inside the hotel. Client's wish can be forwarded to the hotel but not guaranteed.Package rates include accommodation in a standard room (or superior depending on the hotel's room rating). Any other kind of rooms (sea view, de luxe, junior suite, suite etc) can be booked on request for an extra charge.
- Room with sea view: the reservation for a sea view room is only guaranteed if the hotel has a sea view supplement. Some hotels offer the side sea view and the full sea view for the same supplement.
-Minibar: consumption of minibar is only for extra charge.
- Check-in time: on the day of the arrival from 14.00, check-out time on the day of the departure until 12.00
- changing a hotel: due to technical problems or any overbooking we reserve the right to ensure another hotel to our guests which can be the same category or higher.
- Family rooms: consist 1 or 2 bedrooms depending on the hotel, maximum with a double bed and 2 extra beds (or 2 bunkbeds)
- Connecting rooms: for 2 adults + 2 children, recommended for families. Children discount is not available when using connecting rooms.
- Extra bed: recommended only for children, not really comfortable for adults. Extra bed reduction can be ensured with 2 full paying guests on the 3rd bed in the hotel room.
- Meals: hotels can be change the meal plan in the low season. At all hotel descriptions and pricelists meal plan can be seen. Drinks are excluded - except the all inclusive meal plan - all drink are payable on the spot. To take in any food or drinks bought out of the hotel is forbidden. Please pay attention on the requested dress code in all restaurants.
- Continental breakfast: baked goods, jam, butter, coffee, tea, soft drinks
- buffet breakfast: sort of hot and cold buffet
- halfboard: breakfast and dinner without drinks
- fullboard: breakfast, lunch and dinner
- all inclusive: fullboard with local drinks (soft drink and alcoholic drinks), snacks, coffee, tea and cakes according to the hotel's meal plan and also includes some sporting facilities free of charge (see the hotel descriptions). Guest receive an armband which let them use all the all inclusive services in the hotel. Some hotels fix the consumption with invoices which has not to be paid by guest. Usually all the following facilities are payable on the spot: import drinks, wellness and spa facilities, motorized sport equipments. Lost armbands will be charged a penalty. All inclusive plans work in each hotels differently. Ultra all incusive usually consist the import drinks as well.
Beach services:
Sunbeds and parasols - Usually around the pool these equipments are for free of charge and payable on the beach.Number of equipments does not fit to the number of guests, sometimes you will find all occupied. Quality of beaches is written in all hotel descriptions.
Rates / Supplements:
Supplements are payable over the selling rate (package rate) for any extra services which are not included in the package price: single room, additional meals, any other type of rooms (family, junior suite etc)Children rates and discounts:- 0-2 years old: free of charge (babycot payable)- 2-12 years old: see the given prices and discounts in the price list. Any discount and children price is available only on an extrabed.
Promotions:
After buying any trip use of a new promotional rate is not available.
Travel documents:
Please check your travel documents before leaving and check all the destinations if you need a visa to the country you are going to travel.
- Travel documents will be delivered to the airport and you can pick up 2 hours before your departure time. Travel documents include: flight ticket and service voucher.
- Duration of trips: flying days are included in the whole duration of the travel. The day of departure and arrival does not include any payable services.
Health care:

Tours, programmes:
durations: informative (panoramic sightseeing tour without any stop, takes 1 hour); halfday tours takes 2-3 hours fullday tours takes 5-6 hours.
- entrance tickets: please check it in the program description if there is any entrance fee included or excluded.
- optional tours: can be booked in advance or on the spot.All the tours are with Hungarian speaking local guiding but our colleagues will help you to find English or other language tours on the spot.
Claims:
In any case you are not satisfied with services please ask for our local representative our assistante who will help you to solve the problem. If you cannot find a solution we ask to write a report and send it to our headoffice. We will do our best to help you.Without written and signed report we cannot accept any claim after the trip.
Nightlife and noise:
All the holiday places are growing up and build more and more hotels and tourist infrastructure. The building operations and the night life can be disturbing.
Aircondition and warm water supply:
Mostly the hotels have central aircondition which works according to the hotel's rules. During the day some hotels don't let the airconditions working and not in low season as well.Certain holiday places have a problem with water supply.
Value safekeeping:
We suggest to use the hotel's safety deposit boxes. Hotels are not responsible in any case of your personal belongings disappear.
Dressing:
A light Summer dress and comfortable shoes advised. Please don't forget some warm clothes to take with you. Evenings and early morning can be cold.
Tipping:
About 10% of the service value is excepted in all the countries as a tip. In case your receipt includes a tip - for exmaple in Italy - don't give them more.

Sections 389-401. and 415-416 of the Civil Code, Governmental decree No.: 281 / 2008 about travel and travel mediation contracts and the prescriptions of this present contract are to be considered authoritative to travels organised by the BEST REISEN Utazási Kft. (seat: 22. Szent István krt. Budapest – 1137, HUNGARY; telephone: (+36 – 1) – 465 – 0883; company registration number: R 1214/9599).
2. The travel contract and its Appendices contain the data in relation with the travel as follows:- destination, route, places,- place and type of accommodation with the definition of their main features, with the level of conveniences in harmony with the regulations of the given country, furthermore, with a notice if these regulations differ from the ones in the country of the traveller,- exact time of the departure and the arrival,- the partial services ordered by the traveller, the conditions of the participation in these services, the participation fee given in HUF,- taxes and dues not covered by the participation fee, the fees of the optional programs and other obligatory tariffs given in HUF, furthermore, a notice indicating that these fees may change,- whether the participation fee covers the the fee of the healthcare, accident and luggage insurance and the insurance regarding the risk of the accommodations,- the advance money to be paid or rather the payment order of the remaining part of the whole participation fee in accordance with the travel contract,- the type and category of the vehicles of transport,- information in connection with the meals,- the minimum number of travellers and the date when the BEST REISEN is obliged to inform the traveller about the cancellation of the travel,- the individual requirements of the traveller.Details included in the travel offer (information booklet), special offer, application form and the confirmation are the inseparable parts of the travel contract.The traveller declares that she / he knows and accepts the detailed conditions put down in the travel offer (information booklet) and appendices listed above of this present contract. Should any change occur in connection with the travel offer of this present contract then the BEST REISEN is obliged to inform the traveller about it in writing. If the change happens after the conclusion of the travel contract then the traveller after having received the notice is entitled to abandon the contract about which the traveller is obliged to inform the BEST REISEN without delay. In this case the traveller is allowed to establish a claim to a substitutional service the value of which equals the original one or higher if the BEST REISEN possesses the possibility, if the BEST REISEN has no such opportunity or the traveller does not accept the offered substitutional service then the BEST REISEN pays back the whole paid fee immediately with an interest the amount of which equals the base rate of the central bank of the last day before the half calendar year concerned for the period of time after the conclusion of the contract, furthermore, compensates the traveller with all the damage appeared in connection with the cancellation.The contracting parties agree that the maximum amount to be paid to the traveller as compensation can never exceed the double amount of the whole participation fee.
3. The BEST REISEN is allowed to modify the program booklet (travel offer) issued provided the BEST REISEN informs the traveller about the modification – in a certifiable way – prior to the conclusion of the travel contract.
4. The contracting parties acknowledge that this present contract steps into force if the BEST REISEN confirms – in writing - the services ordered by the traveller. The BEST REISEN undertakes to confirm – in writing – the advanced service within four (4) workdays. Should the confirmation not happen within this period of time then the advance money paid by the traveller will be returned without delay along with the legal interest due for this period. If the service is not ordered by the traveller personally then the person acting on behalf of the traveller is obliged to prove her / his entitlement with a proper authorisation.
5. The traveller at the same time of the signature of the travel contract pays a participation fee advance money. The paid advance guarantees that the travel agency does not sell the such reserved places to other travellers. The whole amount of the participation fee and the fee of the ordered services are due thirty (30) days prior to the departure. The participation fee advance money to be paid account for forty (40) percent of the whole participation fee. The traveller acknowledges that not keeping of the above mentioned deadline results in the termination of the concluded contract. The whole amount of the paid participation fee advance money will be returned to the traveller if the travel is cancelled az a result of any reason emerged in the circle of interest of he BEST REISEN.
6. The BEST REISEN undertakes to issue an invoice which contains the VAT as well after the traveller's payment of the whole participation fee. If the traveller abandons the contract before the date of the departure or the travel is cancelled as a result of a reason emerged on the circle of interest of the BEST REISEN then the BEST REISEN undertakes to pay back the return the participation fee paid to the traveller less the cancellation fee as retention money within eight (8) days after the abandonment directly or indirectly via its representative.
7. a) The BEST REISEN is entitled to increase the participation fee twenty (20) days before the departure the latest if the tariffs of the transportation costs based on international pacts or the taxes and dues of the certain services, fuel prices and the exchange rate of HUF put down in the contract concluded with the traveller change in the meantime. The BEST REISEN will inform the traveller about the justification and the rate of the fee increase. The rate of the participation fee increase is proportional with the rate of the cost increase. Should the participation fee increase exceed eight (8) percent of the original participation fee then the traveller is allowed to abandon the contract within three (3) days after the reception of the notice and obliged to inform the BEST RESEIN about this decision, the BEST REISEN returns the whole amount of the participation fee along with the due interest until the date of the money return. The traveller in this case is allowed to get the entitlement detailed in 7 a).
b) In connection with the travellers travelling by air intermediate landings, aeroplane exchanges not announced by the airline – in accordance with the rules and regulations of the given airline without the responsibility of the BEST REISEN - can happen any time, furthermore, the departure and arrival times of the airlines are only informative data and are not the parts of the travel contract. The BEST REISEN informs the travellers concerned about such changes immediately it obtains knowledge of them.
c) If the destination or the route is in such a place – after the conclusion of the travel contract – which got to the list of destinations and regions as "not recommended for tourists" on the homepage of the central administration office led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs then the BEST REISEN, if possible, can offer a service the value of which is the same as the ordered service or higher, if the service offer this way is less valuable than the original one then the price difference is paid the traveller. Should the traveller not accept the offered service then she / he is allowed to abandon the contract and the BEST REISEN is obliged to return the paid participation fee to the traveller without delay.
8. In the lack of the necessary minimum number of travellers the BEST REISEN is allowed to abandon the travel contract twenty-one (21) days the latest prior to the date of the departure. The BEST REISEN is also entitled to abandon the contract if the travel is threatened by such a vis maior which was not at all visible at the time of the contract conclusion (political or natural event in the destination country which endangers human life and health and the security of possessions). If the BEST RESISEN abandons the contract then the traveller
a) is entitled to a substitutional service – if the BEST REISEN possesses the possibility – the value of which is the same as the original or higher. If the substitutional service is of a higher value then it is the traveller's obligation to pay the price difference, if lower then the difference is returned to the traveller by the BEST REISEN.
b) can demand the return of the paid participation fee and the payment of the due interest after the amount.If the BEST REISEN abandons the contract not because of a reason emerged in the circle of interest of the traveller then the BEST REISEN is obliged to pay compensation to the traveller for the damage appeared as a result of the cancellation over the above mentioned details except, if
a) such external condition threatening human life health and the security of possessions which can not at all be reliably operated and was not visible at the time of the contract conclusion and could not be expected with due foresight (vis maior), or
b) if the number of the applicants does not reach the minimum number of participants published and the BEST REISEN informs the traveller about this fact – in writing – twenty-one (21) days prior to the date of the departure.
9. Should the BEST REISEN wish to change the travel conditions remarkably after the contract conclusion for reasons beyond its control (for instance, the change of the departure date, lower level of convenience than in the original offer, if programs and excursions can not be kept fully and so on), the traveller is allowed to abandon the travel contract within three (3) days after the notice of such changes. Details in 7/a and 7/b will be considered authoritative to the legal consequences of this abandonment. It can never be considered the remarkable change of the travel contract if the BEST REISEN changed the given partial services by no fault of its and ensured services the value of which were the same like the original ones or higher.
10. Should the traveller abandon the travel contract out of thirty-five (35) days prior to the departure date and not as a result of the above listed reasons or modifies the contract at any time then the traveller is obliged to pay ten (10) percent of the whole participation fee as retention money. If the traveller modifies the contract within 35 days to the departure the traveller is obligated to pay a fee of HUF 5000 as a modification charge. If the traveller abandons the travel contract within thirty-five (35) or the maximum seven (7) days prior to the departure date then the following compensation will be paid as retention money:35 – 15 days: twenty-five (25) percent of the whole participation fee,14 – 7 days: fifty (50) percent of the whole participation fee.Should the traveller abandon or modify the travel contract within 6 – 0 days then the traveller is obliged to pay one hundred (100) percent as retention money. It is the right of the BEST REISEN to deduct the retention money to be paid from the amount of the participation fee to be returned to the traveller. The amount of the retention money in the case of charter flights, so-called group IT (lump sum, scheduled flights) may be different in certain cases than mentioned above about which Your travel agency can give you further information.
11. Repayment detailed in 9. will happen within eight (8) days after the abandonment.
12. The traveller is entitled to transfer her / his right of participation in the travel reserved in the travel contract to a third party. The traveller is obliged to inform the BEST REISEN – in writing – about such transfer and bear the surplus costs. Transfer is only possible with unchanged conditions, furthermore, in the case of countries where a visa is required the third person concerned possesses the necessary visa. Should the transfer be not possible because the seat reservation system of the aeroplane can not change the person of the traveller within the available time then the BEST REISEN does not at all bear any responsibility.
13. The traveller can exclusively transfer the right of participation to such a third party who meets the conditions of the travel contract and takes cognizance of the details of it.
14. The appropriate prescriptions of the Civil Code will be applied to the infeasibility and the denial of execution of the contract. The BEST REISEN is responsible for the damage originating from the non-execution or the default of the travel contract except if the non-execution or default is not its or its employed contributor's fault especially when
a) the discrepancies in the execution of the contract can be traced back to the behaviour of the traveller or
b) the mistakes and errors can be traced back to such a third person who is not at all involved in the execution of the services undertaken in the travel contract, and these mistakes and errors could not be foreseen and avoided with due circumspection, or
c) vis maior happened. These events are such unforeseeable conditions – war, strikes, bigger force power, unavoidable natural events or technical problems – the consequences of which the entrepreneur could not avoid with the greatest circumspection either.The BEST REISEN limits the amount of compensation to be paid the traveller the double amount of the participation fee of this present travel contract.
15. The BEST REISEN will also be responsible for the execution of the services undertaken in the contract if the service is executed by its contributor (freighter, hotel and so on) or by its representative except if the contributor's responsibility is limited by law of an international agreement.
a) Should the BEST REISEN not execute the travel in harmony with the contract then it is obliged to decrease the participation fee proportionally. The BEST REISEN is not obliged to decrease the participation fee if the traveller does not use a service for her / his own decision os for an event emerged in her / his circle of interest.
b) Should the traveller criticise any of the services then she / he is obliged to inform the guide or the local service provider about it without delay who is obliged to prepare minutes in which attaches her / his personal opinion and to hand one copy over to the traveller. The guide informs the BEST REISEN about without delay and takes the necessary measure. The traveller is obliged to report her / his claim regarding the non according to contract execution within two (2) month after arrival along with the attachment of the minutes prepared this way in writing to the BERST REISEN. Should the traveller fail to report the claim for damages within the available period of time the BEST REISEN will be relieved of its obligation for compensation. The BEST REISEN is obliged to survey the justifiability of the claim and inform about its viewpoint thirty (30) days after the report of the claim.
16. The BEST REISEN informs the traveller that the responsibility of the air freighters as the contributors of the BEST REISEN is limited by the Act No.: 2005/VII on the announcement of the Agreement about the standardisation of certain legal rules in connection with the international air freight prepared on 28 May, 1999 in Montreal.
17. The BEST REISEN undertakes to always indicate whether participation fee in the travel offer covers the healthcare, luggage and cancellation insurances.
18. The BEST REISEN informs the traveller seven (7) days or if the period of time between the contract conclusion and the departure is shorter then at the time of the travel contract conclusion – in writing – with the guide of the BEST REISEN or directly at the BEST REISEN about the ways communication from the destination, the place and time of the travel document reception, furthermore, about the insurances the traveller may have resort to if they were not published in the program booklet (travel offer).
19. The BEST REISEN will inform the traveller whether the documents necessary for the travel (visa and so on) should be obtained by the traveller or the office on the basis of the traveller's authorisation. The BEST REISEN informs about the times of the data supply. Should the traveller fail to keep the deadlines then the travel is considered cancelled as a result of the traveller's actionable conduct.
20. The traveller is obliged to keep all the effective legal rules (passport, visa, customs, foreign exchange, healthcare and others). The traveller undertakes to possess such a passport the validity of which is at least six (6) months after the departure date. Should the traveller fail to keep them then the damage and costs occurred will be paid by the traveller. If the traveller can not participate in the program as a result of the breach of legal rules then the BEST REISEN is entitled to keep all the participation fee as retention money.
21. The traveller is not entitled to raise a claim for execution non according to the contract if this situation emerges as a result of the traveller's actionable conduct during the travel.
22. The traveller is directly responsible for the damage brought on to a third party during the travel.
23.The traveller is responsible for the safekeeping of her / his luggage during the travel unless it is received by the contributor of the BEST RESIEN for safekeeping.
24. The permission number of the BEST REISEN: R 1214/95/99.
25. The BEST REISEN concluded a contract with the QBE Atlasz Biztosító Zrt. in connection with the prescribed financial reserves.
26. For any debates emerging in connection with the travel organised by the BEST REISEN the contracting parties endeavour to solve them amicably. Should they fail to do so then they accept the competency of the Pest Central District Court or the Court of Budapest.
27. The traveller can turn to the Hungarian Authority of Consumer Protection with regards to the justifiability of the fee increase and the discrepancies of the travel contract. Best Reisen Travel Agency
